Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was aware that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt, she placed among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. In 2003, Felix was a senior in high school having signed a professional contract with the athletics company Adidas before enrolling in the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. The following year, she won her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her competitions.
