Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She appeared as Victoria Justice's guest on Victorious, in 2012. Shipp's acting debut was in 2009, with a tiny part as a character in Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakquel. She went on to star in Nickelodeon's season three of the mystery teen drama series House of Anubis playing the role as KT Rush. Her roles on the show in 2014 included Dani Raymond, the lead character in the VH1 television sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well as Aaliyah Hauchton in Lifetime television film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B garnered the attention of her fans. The latter role Shipp also sang. She also sang in Straight Outta Compton, a biographical drama, she tells the story of the hip-hop group N.W.A. The year was 2016, and she starred in Bryan Singer's superhero flick X-Men: Apocalypse with Halle Berry as Ororo Storm, a mutant who controls climate change. In the year 2018 Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. starred as the lead in Love Simon. Kathryn Prescott was also in Dude. James is her older brother. She was Danielle Dani Raymond (a fictional character) in the TV film Drumline A New Beat from 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16 1991) is a American actor, singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who rose to prominence for portraying real-life musician Aaliyah as a character in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B (2014) and Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
